1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Black L741 Touch Up Paint
This 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is finished in black over black leather and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and all-wheel drive. Equipment includes 18" Turbo Twist wheels, Bilstein coilovers, a powered rear spoiler, an electric sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management head unit. The car was delivered new to Pepe Porsche in White Plains, New York, and spent time in Connecticut before returning to New York where it was recently acquired by the selling dealer. Service in April 2021 consisted of changing the oil, flushing the brake fluid, and replacing the drive belts and fog light relay. This 993 shows 59k miles is now offered at no reserve in New York with service records, owner's manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a Connecticut registration.
The C4S featured wider rear bodywork than the standard 993 Carrera as well as a front air dam derived from the contemporary Turbo. This example is finished in black (L741) and is equipped with an electric sunroof, headlight washers, a rear window wiper, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The selling dealer notes that scratches were touched up during previous ownership, and a new rear badge was applied in April 2021.
18″ Turbo Twist wheels feature 4S-crest center caps and wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that show a mix of 2018 and 2019 date codes. Bilstein coilovers have been added, and stopping power is provided by red Porsche-script calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. A brake fluid flush was carried out in April 2021.
The cockpit is upholstered in black leather with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes seats with power height adjustment, air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, Coco Mats, a fire extinguisher, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management head unit.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 59k miles.
The 3.6-liter flat-six is equipped with a VarioRam induction system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower. In March 2019, Speedsport Tuning of Danbury, Connecticut removed the cylinder heads to perform a valve job and repair the secondary air ports. In April 2021, they changed the oil and replaced the drive belts and fog light relay.

The owner's manual notes a warranty start date of January 21, 1996, and delivery from Pepe Porsche. The build sticker lists the following options:
